Navigating the transition from graduate school to a postdoc or faculty position can be both exciting and scary. This session will provide insights into the academic job market, including guidance on securing postdoctoral positions, preparing strong application materials, and strategizing for faculty job searches. Recently successful job market candidates will share their firsthand experiences, offering practical advice on navigating interviews, negotiations, and the overall application process.
This professional development session will be led by Dr. Meltem Yucel, a postdoctoral fellow at Duke University and incoming Assistant Professor at Michigan State University.
